Westport’s big day ‘live’ on internet TV



THIS weekend’s AIB All-Ireland junior and intermediate club finals – in hurling and football – will be screened live on internet TV station LocalStreaming.club.

Clubs from Mayo, Meath, Kerry, Tyrone, Kilkenny, Galway and Cork will chase national glory on the hallowed sod of Croke Park – and fans will be able to watch every moment of the action live on the net.
Innovative TV service LocalStreaming.club and competition sponsors AIB have teamed up to provide coverage of all four finals. The hurling deciders take place on Saturday and the football showdowns go ahead on Sunday.
“We have shown a number of games in the club football and hurling championships over the past two years, and we are delighted to now cover our first All-Ireland final series,” said Liam Horan of LocalStreaming.club.
On Saturday next, coverage begins at 2.30pm ahead of the All-Ireland junior club hurling final between Mayfield (Cork) and Mooncoin (Kilkenny) at 3pm, followed by the Intermediate hurling decider between Ahascragh-Fohenagh (Galway) and Carrickshock (Kilkenny) at 4.45pm.
Then, on Sunday, coverage begins at 1.30pm ahead of the All-Ireland junior club final between Kerry’s Glenbeigh-Glencar and Rock St Patrick’s of (Tyrone) which throws-in at 2pm.
The Intermediate final between Westport and St St. Colmcille’s of Meath begins at 3.45pm.

The match commentary team over the two days will include Mike Finnerty (Sports Editor of The Mayo News, and well-known for his work with Sky Sports, eir Sport and Mid-West Radio), Liam Horan, and a number of AIB GAA ambassadors, including the former Kerry footballer Stephen Stack and current Meath goalkeeper Paddy O’Rourke.
Westport’s Paul Grady is one of the co-commentators on duty for his club’s big game.

AIB All-Ireland Junior and Intermediate finals to be streamed live

AIB are delighted to announce that GAA fans can now look forward to viewing the final instalments of the 2016/17 AIB GAA Junior and Intermediate Football and Hurling Club Championship online via aib.ie/gaa and the AIB YouTube channel.
Eight outstanding teams from Mayo, Meath, Kerry, Tyrone, Kilkenny, Galway and Cork will compete in what is the pinnacle of the AIB GAA Junior and Intermediate Hurling and Football club championship. GAA fans can now follow every minute of the nail biting action online and witness who is #TheToughest thanks to Club Championship sponsor AIB who recently teamed up with innovative TV service LocalStreaming.club. 
Live video streaming is growing in popularity, and the games between Westport and Kenmare, and Louisburgh against Glenbeigh / Glencar in the Junior and Intermediate club semi-finals in Ennis were shown online with over 23,900 from 72 countries watched at least a few minutes of live coverage. 
Commenting on AIB’s live video streaming service, Patrick Somers, Marketing Manager, AIB, said: “We are very excited about live streaming all four finals. The schedule for both days is as follows:
Saturday, February 18
2.30pm: Coverage starts
3pm: Junior Hurling Final: Mayfield (Cork) v Mooncoin (Kilkenny)
4.45pm: Intermediate Hurling Final: Ahascragh-Fohenagh (Galway) v Carrickshock (Kilkenny)
Sunday February 19
1.30pm: Coverage starts
2pm: Junior Football Final Glenbeigh-Glencar (Kerry), v Rock St Patrick’s (Tyrone)
3.45pm: Intermediate Football Final: St. Colmcille's (Meath) v Westport GAA (Mayo)
